               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Summary<BR>The Technical Writer  position, utilizing established regulatory and internal department standards, is responsible for supporting the Lead Technical Writer, and/or Lead Engineer, in developing, writing, and editing material, for aircraft maintenance manuals, component maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogs, service bulletins, service letters and various other related technical publications.  Support the design and development of aircraft engineering documentation based on customer and OEM requirements for production, retrofit applications and product development.<BR><BR>Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following with other duties as assigned:<BR>• All applicable to Technical Writer 1, except with minimal supervision and applicable to moderately complex work.<BR>• Perform technical documentation review, check, and sign documents<BR><BR>Supervisory Responsibility<BR>• This job has no supervisory responsibilities.<BR><BR>Qualifications<BR>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and /or ability required. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.<BR><BR>All applicable to Technical Writer 1.<BR><BR>Requirements<BR>• Bachelors degree (same as Technical Writer 1).<BR>• This is an intermediate level of writer requiring 2-4 years experience or equivalent working experience in an aerospace related field.<BR>• Proficient user of Microsoft Office, Adobe FrameMaker, Graphics software, and basic knowledge of CAD systems such as AutoCAD, ProE, Catia, etc.<BR>• Knowledge and Skills<BR>o All applicable to Technical Writer 1.<BR>o Aircraft Fundamental Knowledge:  Basic knowledge of the ATA iSpec 2200 as it pertains to aviation industry standard for content and electronic formatting specifications for technical document content, structure, electronic exchange of aircraft engineering, and maintenance.<BR><BR>Education and/or Experience<BR><BR>Language Skill<BR>• Ability to read and interpret documents such a stately rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. <BR>• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers of employees of organization. <BR><BR>Reasoning Ability<BR>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. <BR><BR>Work Environment<BR>The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet, and at a desk.</font></td>
