 <td align="left">Title: Mechanical System Design & Analysis Engineer Location: WA-Everett PDS is seeking a Mechanical System Design & Analysis Engineer 4 for an open position in Mukilteo,WA. In your role, you will: * Lead and provide technical quality review of the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid systems and thermal environment to establish the system design. * Lead activities to validate and verify mechanical and fluid systems requirements. * Lead the development, maintenance or modification of system components'' designs/proposals to provide installation and detail documentation. * Perform and document analyses. * Manage supplier development, test and production activities and directs the supplier to optimize integration and achieve program goals. * Prioritize, delegate and track performance and documentation of analyses of mechanisms/landing gear/ordnance components and systems selecting appropriate methods to validate or assess the design. * Support proposal preparation and new business development efforts. * Train and coach others. * Work under minimal direction. * Develop and maintain cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs. * Analyze results and perform design reviews. * Develop and maintain electrical product detail, assembly and installation designs (e.g., equipment racks, power panels, cable routing and geometry, antennas). * Provide engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests). * Document process, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities. * Develop statements of work, schedules and budgets. * Perform technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection. * Analyze functional and physical input to assure development of complete integrated design and system architecture. As our ideal candidate, you will meet the following requirements: * A Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience. * Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. * ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. * Occasional travel may be required. * Must be a U.S. person. This position may require you to submit to and pass a drug test and/or background check. If this is a hands-on position, you may also be required to pass a safety and productivity examination.
