These positions are hands-on direct contact with clients providing non-medical personal care and homemaking services <BR><BR>ESENTIAL FUNCTIONS:<BR>- Performs work under the supervision of the staffing Coordinator / supervisor of Direct Care Services, adhere to our policies and procedures<BR>- Performs homemaking activities contained in the Client Home Record with includes, but is not limited to: vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, laundry and cleaning bathrooms.<BR>- Prepares meals and snacks for client according to client / family and supervisor's instructions. Grocery shopping if prearranged with the office.<BR>- Provides companionship for the client including accompanying client on walks, trips social / recreational activities, assistance with hobbies, etc.<BR>- Written documentation of service provided.<BR>- You do not contact the physician directly, but refer all questions or reports to the supervisor.<BR><BR><b>JOB REQUIREMENTS: </b><BR>1.Completion of a State (or similarly accredited) Nurse Aide training program, with a designation as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and/or Nursing Assistant Registered (NAR) as well as satisfactory completion of qualifications 2 through 8 below. <BR>2.Must have your training time or current certifications to be bonded by our company. <BR>3. Must complete a Disclosure Statement and background check through Washington State Patrol data bank. <BR>4.Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and interact with clients, families, coworkers, and all supervisors. <BR>5.Ability to accurately follow and process written and verbal instructions. <BR>6.Satisfactorily demonstrate and perform competency in non-medical skills through the PCA competency evaluation checklist. <BR>7.On the company's web site you must take a Competency exam (job knowledge test) and score a Minimum of 90%. To speed up your hiring process the day of the hiring event come into a WorkSource location they will give you the web address, take this exam early. At the hiring they will tell you the score. <BR>8.Current Driver's License, Proof of automobile insurance, and daily availability of a car for business use. <BR>- High School Diploma or GED<BR>- Must be able to document services clearly read and write in English<BR>- Able to lift 50 lbs<BR>- Able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.<BR><BR><b>HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE: </b><BR>- Shift times and days vary with client needs. <BR><BR><b>SALARY / WAGE / BENEFITS: </b><BR>-$11.65 to $12 per hour<BR>- Upon annual review, $60 education voucher for employee who has more than 6 months consistent work with our company.<BR>- Bonus for mileage: 50 cents per mile<BR><BR><b>CLOSING DATE/DEADLINE : </b><BR>-Open until filled<BR><BR><b>HOW TO APPLY/REQUEST A REFERRAL: </b> Attend hiring event listed above or report in person with this Job Order Number, to your nearest WorkSource office.
