<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Basic Responsibilities: Performs analysis that helps inform economic, operations and policy decisions to support the Power Management department. Negotiates & advocates for the PUD at BPA rate cases & other forums; works with utilities, management, power supplier staff, and other regional/local agencies to build & maintain coalitions & common positions on short-term and long-term power supply issues. Supports evaluation & negotiations for new power supply resources & performs economic & other technical & policy analyses. Position responsible for performing a broad range of moderate to complex project manager duties in administering existing supply contracts and supporting multiple department projects or initiatives. <BR><BR>Minimum Qualifications: Requires Bachelor’s degree in economics, business, engineering, science or related field; 7 years progressively more responsible experience in power supply planning, policy development, contract management, coalition building & analytical work in the electric utility industry.<BR>License or Certification: Valid Washington State Drivers License.<BR><BR>Preferred Qualifications: Prefer knowledge of power management &/or economic issues related to electric utilities in the Pacific NW with particular emphasis on NW hydroelectric power generation system, power planning and effects of fish & wildlife decisions on operation of hydroelectric system.</font></td>
