Under general or minimal direction, leads or performs system, product and process audits in accordance with the requirements of the Quality Management System (QMS) to determine compliance to the QMS, regulatory, customer and business related requirements. Must be able to develop and execute audit plans; validate compliance to requirements and identify nonconformities and improvement opportunities; conduct opening and closing meetings with audit clients, including executive management; document and negotiate audit findings and write a final report; communicate the results of the audits to management; work with audit clients to ensure timely and effective corrective actions are submitted; and perform audit follow-up activity to verify effectiveness of corrective actions. Additional expectations include working with the audit client or corrective action plan assignee to provide consultation or guidance on root cause analysis pertaining to nonconformities. Analyzes process data, metrics, models and flows to identify root cause of problems.
