               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Senior Decision Support Analyst<BR>Location: Washington-Everett<BR>Job Number:_11294<BR>Providence is calling a Decision Support Analyst to Providence Health & Services in Everett, WA.<BR><BR><BR>The Sr. Decision Support Analyst has an integral role in planning, preparation and delivery of financial, clinical and business analysis for the healthcare system and affiliates. This includes the development of financial solutions that promote an environment of effective decision-making, revenue enhancement, cost efficiency and sound business practices. In addition, this position works closely with other hospital teams (Accounting, Reimbursement, IT, Finance and Clinical Informatics) to develop financial products and services catered to meet the specific needs of the healthcare system.<BR><BR>The position provides a variety of research and analysis of financial and clinical data, and trends. Primary areas of responsibility will include: development of financial alternatives and recommendations related to profit objectives and price alternatives. Assist in the gathering data from across the region for common decision support reporting. Implement/enhance common cost accounting methodology and other regional decision support standards. Conduct benchmark analyses, periodic reporting, surveys, and special projects. Prepare financial analyses for assigned projects, entities, and/or departments. <BR><BR><BR><BR>About the department you will serve.<BR>Providence Strategic and Management Services provides a variety of functional and system support services for all eight regions of Providence Health & Services from Alaska to California. We are focused on supporting our Mission by delivering a robust foundation of services and sharing of specialized expertise.<BR><BR>In this position you will:<BR><BR>Perform research and analysis to provide management with financial data and recommendations for use in setting and realizing profit objectives, including participation in the budget process, assistance in price determination and reporting enhancements and innovations.<BR><BR>Evaluate financial alternatives and recommends appropriate action and evaluates effectiveness of new programs by comparing results with original proposals.<BR><BR>Review financial statements, account analysis and other related financial information to determine status and conducts appropriate follow up.<BR><BR>Be directly responsible for data integrity in cost accounting, payor contract modeling, profitability analysis and opportunity assessment. <BR><BR>Implement process for cost and data quality improvement that is data driven (Mecon) operational bench marking, satisfaction data from patients, physician and employees, to meet or exceed financial and regulatory expectations.<BR><BR>Assists in the coordination of and responds to request for clinical and financial information in a timely and efficient manner.<BR><BR>Maintain confidentiality of records, patient, employee or medical center information at all times.
