               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Speech Language Pathologist - Home Health<BR>Location: Washington-Everett<BR>Job Number:_16470<BR>Providence is calling a Speech Language Pathologist toProvidence Hospice and Home Care of Snohomish County in Everett, WA. <BR>We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team of caregivers who provide in home diagnostic and therapeutic treatment to patients who exhibit speech language or swallowing disorders.<BR><BR>In this position you will:<BR>* Help patients and their families maintain dignity and independence while receiving safe, effective rehabilitation in the security of their home.<BR>* Provide initial patient evaluation in accordance to physician request in order to initiate appropriate treatment, which is reasonable in the terms of accepted practice and necessary to recovery of function.<BR>* Educate patient and family (or caretaker) regarding the therapy and maintenance of the speech or swallowing disorder.<BR>* Use critical thinking, decisive judgment, and your ability to make independent decisions.<BR>* Utilize software for the maintenance of patient records and communication with team members.<BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>Required qualifications for this position include:<BR>* Bachelor?s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution<BR>* Current Speech Therapy licensure in Washington State<BR>* Current American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) certification<BR>* Valid Washington State driver?s license and insured, reliable vehicle<BR>* One year experience with clinical responsibilities in a hospital, clinic, home health or skilled nursing facility or other related medical field<BR>* Current CPR certification<BR>Preferred qualifications for this position include:<BR>* Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology<BR><BR>About the ministry you will serve.<BR>Providence Home and Hospice Services provides quality, timely comprehensive medical care in the homes of patients and with facilities in Washington State?s King, Snohomish, Thurston, Mason and Lewis Counties.
