               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">LocationEverett, WA;Stafford, UK<BR>Security Clearance Required?No Security Clearance Requiredabout security clearance definitions<BR>Position Description<BR>Job responsibilities will encompass all aspects of the Supplier Quality (SQ) Field Representative Quality Specialist role including Quality, Product and Manufacturing audits, source inspection, first article inspection oversight, FAA Conformity work as well as working with assigned suppliers to deliver improved quality. The Quality Specialist ensures that the suppliers Quality System and products meet purchase contract requirements and applicable regulatory agency and government regulations. Provides technical expertise to company employees, suppliers employees, customers and when required provides education and coaching on regulatory requirements and the AS9100 aerospace quality system. The Quality Specialist will be competent in root cause corrective action investigations, performing problem resolution and follow-up activities including problem identification, investigation, analysis and resolution of discrepancies and non-conformance issues. Interfaces with the Boeing Enterprise, internal and external customers, and suppliers to establish priorities and be responsible for developing and regularly maintaining detailed reports to communicate quality status, improvement activities, risks, and progress to the Supplier Management community. Will lead and assist the supplier with metrics, schedules and track results. The Quality Specialist works within a dynamic environment and requires to be flexible, supporting the multiple activities needed to support Boeing production needs. This will include the management of sub-contract inspector personnel. This position will be home office based in the UK West Midlands area but also requires frequent travel, mainly within the United Kingdom (UK) region, however when required this could extend to the wider Europe region. The requiredCompetenciesare as follows. This position requires knowledge of ISO 9000, AS 9100 and will require extensive product auditing and source inspection experience. Critical skills include good written and oral communication and problem solving skills. Strong understanding of Root Cause and Corrective Action analysis is required, and implementation of acceptable preventative action. This will require a sound knowledge of continuous improvement tools and communication tools. The position also requires extensive procurement, operations and quality support knowledge. The candidate will be experienced and competent in procurement support processes, quality systems and possess a high level of technical expertise. The candidate must possess a proven ability to manage supplier relationships and to think strategically and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability in development of project management schedules & milestones with Procurement Agents to ensure successful project implementations.
