The company is a long-standing, well respected facility with a significant portfolio of loyal and dedicated customers. <BR><BR><b>Job Description:</b><BR>* Perform detailed routine safety and preventive maintenance inspection of scheduled vehicles and equipment.<BR>* Perform oil services and inspections as well as cleans and lubricates scheduled vehicles<BR>* Performs detailed diagnosis and repair of automotive cooling systems.<BR>* Performs tune-ups, scheduled maintenance and brake repair of vehicles.<BR>* Maintains the shop in a safe and orderly manner.<BR>* Operates automotive vehicles assigned to the shop.<BR>* Performs other related duties as assigned<BR><BR><b>Hours / Days / Schedule:</b><BR>8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday<BR><BR><b>Job Requirements:</b><BR><i>Your resume must reflect the following qualifications to receive a referral:</i><BR>* High school diploma or GED<BR>* Course completion from an accredited institution or technical college<BR>* One (1) year working in the servicing and repair of automobiles.<BR>* Must have general knowledge of standard practices, methods, tools and equipment of the automotive mechanic trade<BR>* Must have general knowledge of the automotive systems including but not limited to steering, suspension, brakes, engines, transmissions, drive axles, fuel, cooling, electrical, engine and body control systems.<BR>* Must have general knowledge of occupational hazards and standard safety precautions of the automotive mechanic trade<BR>* Must have basic knowledge in the use of tools and in the operations of equipment, including computer diagnostic equipment, utilized in the automotive safety precautions of the automotive trade, utilized in automotive technician trade.<BR>* Basic welding tasks using oxy-acetylene and electrical arc welding equipment<BR>* Have the ability to document repairs and parts used on repaired vehicle.<BR>* Work involves moderate exposure to elements such as dirt, fumes, dust, smoke and unpleasant orders and equipment/machinery noise<BR>* Position requires moderate physical activity that includes standing, walking and working on your feet for several hours per day<BR>* Must have a valid Washington State driver's license and reliable transportation<BR><BR><b>Salary / Wage / Benefits:</b><BR>$12.00 - $17.00/hr, DOE/DOQ + benefits (medical; paid holidays, vacation and sick leave) <BR><BR><b>Closing Date / Deadline:</b><BR>Open until filled<BR><BR><b>TO APPLY: <BR>To apply for this position, please copy and paste the website address below into your internet address bar and click "Go".
