               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:  Act as an extension of the LCI Employee Relations Corporate Office to provide effective Employee Relations support to employees of GCE’s Tacoma, Washington worksite, while ensuring connectivity with Corporate Office.  Assist management and supervisors in managing employee performance; including but not limited to, advising and providing guidance regarding employee job performance and behavioral issues, and recommending appropriate courses of action in resolving such issues after various possibilities have been considered.  Provide routine and on-going management/supervisor training with respect to various aspects of Employee Relations (including but not limited to, HR policies and procedures, employee performance management, documentation, hiring, affirmative action, disability sensitivity, and employment related laws, rules and regulations.)  Maintain sound knowledge of employment related laws, rules and regulations, including but not limited to, the ADAAA, FMLA, Title VII, and FLSA, and assist Corporate Employee Relations Team in ensuring GCE’s compliance with the same.  Assist Employee Relations Corporate Office with employment related legal claims and EEOC investigations.  Effectively prepare for and manage unemployment claims (including but not limited to, gathering appropriate documentation and drafting initial response to claims, coordinating with LCI Finance Department with respect to billing/invoices, handling appeals hearings, tracking and trending claims and expenses.)  Assist in Workers’ Compensation claims management.  Promote employee safety, welfare, and overall employee satisfaction. Assist management and Corporate Office in providing an employee oriented, high performance environment that emphasizes quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.  Be available to provide guidance and support with respect to general HR matters (benefits, compensation, FMLA, etc.), as appropriate.  Appropriately respond to staff inquiries with respect to general HR matters, and refer employees to appropriate HR staff in main Corporate Office as necessary.  Establish and maintain recruitment activities such as job fairs, advertisements.  Assist in coordinating new-hire process and orientations.  Assist with GCE contract growth initiatives.<BR><BR>These responsibilities do not reflect all duties the incumbent will be required to perform.  This description serves as an overview only.  Salary is based on experience.  Days and hours may vary.<BR>EEO/Affirmative Action M/F/V/D, Drug Free Workplace Employer</font></td>
