Maintains, repairs, troubleshoots, modifies and installs various types of electronic equipment and related devices such as electronic transmitting and receiving equipment (e.g., radar, radio, television, telecommunication, sonar, and navigational aids); personal and main frame computers and terminals, industrial, medical, measuring, and controlling equipment; and industrial robotic devices.<BR>? Applies advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems of electronics principles in determining equipment malfunctions, and applies skill in restoring equipment operation, evaluates performance and reliability of prototype or production mode, and recommends changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance.<BR>? Applies advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems that typically cannot be solved solely by referencing manufactures? manuals or similar documents, to include determining the location and density of circuitry, evaluating electromagnetic radiation, isolating malfunctions, and incorporating engineering; changes.<BR>? Typically requires an understanding of the interrelationships of circuits, exercising independent judgment in performing such tasks as making circuit analyses, calculating wave forms, and tracing relationships in signal flow, using complex test instruments such as high frequency pulse generators, frequency synthesizers, distortion analyzers, and complex computer control equipment.<BR>? Applies technical knowledge of electronics principles in determining equipment malfunctions, and applies skill in restoring equipment operation, evaluates performance and reliability of prototype or production mode, and recommends changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance.<BR>? Work may be reviewed by supervisor for general compliance with accepted practices.<BR>? Provides technical guidance to lower level technicians.<BR><BR>Additional Job Functions:<BR>? Ability to interpret wiring diagram and schematics.<BR>? Must be able to effectively present hardware, software, and or subsystems problems to design and support engineering teams. Troubleshoots, updates, and configures Linux and Windows based operating systems during replacement and re-configuration of system computers network systems.<BR>? Troubleshoot and repair complex electronic/electromechanical equipment and systems, subsystems, local area networks and peripheral workstations.<BR>? Utilize common and special purpose test equipment to isolate malfunctions and preformed repair actions.<BR>?
