<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Electronics Technician<BR><BR><BR><BR>Positions: 1<BR>Posted: 10/18/2012<BR>Job Type: Temp-to-Hire<BR>Location: US-WA-Gig Harbor<BR>Category: Technical<BR>Salary: Hourly<BR>Benefits: Full Benefits <BR><BR><BR><BR><BR><BR>Apply To This Job<BR>Return To List<BR><BR><BR><BR><BR><BR>Job Description<BR><BR>Qualified applicants will be able to contribute in multiple facets of the field operations by being relied on to conduct test, debug/troubleshooting, inspection and operation of a variety of test and assembly equipment with proficiency.<BR>Responsibilities<BR>• Sets up and tests production products to ensure proper operation per established test criteria<BR>• Recognizes failures and set up problems, isolates problems, and takes appropriate action to resolve those problems.<BR>• Operates oscilloscopes, generators, meters, power supplies, service monitors and test fixtures, and understands their use and function.<BR>• Troubleshoots electronics down to the module level to determine cause and remedy of any malfunction<BR>• Performs minor repairs and circuit card replacements to return unit to operational state<BR>• Keeps accurate records for build information, anomalies, defects and test data.<BR>• Maintains all testing and troubleshooting related equipment. <BR>• Contributes to the workplace organization initiatives.<BR>• Provides feedback to manufacturing engineers on ways to improve procedural steps and process implementation. <BR><BR><BR><BR>Skills/Requirements<BR><BR>Preference will be given to candidates that possess qualifications in:<BR>* IPC J-STD-001 Class 3<BR>* IPC-7711<BR>* IPC-7721<BR>Holds or able to obtain a DoD security clearance and routinely access military installations.<BR>Exhibits basic computer skills<BR>Strong organizational tendencies and practices.<BR>Adaptable to new environments.<BR>Strong verbal and technical writing skills.<BR>Has experience using test electronic test equipment.<BR>Experienced with and able to use hand tools and small power tools.<BR>Able to read, understand and follow technical drawings, datasheets, and written work instructions.<BR>Possesses and maintains a good attendance record and able to work overtime when required (nights and weekends).<BR>Some travel required.
