We are committed to our employees, committed to our community, and committed to a sustainable business in the Columbia River Gorge.<BR><BR>We are excited to announce the opening for a Manufacturing Assembler III, primarily responsible for the assembly of military and other customer aerospace components, subassemblies and systems. Responsibilities may also include basic calibration, test, troubleshooting and repair tasks. This includes following prints, procedures, guidelines or following standard practices to ensure product specifications are met. This person will rely primarily on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job, although on many occasions will work directly with engineering personnel to develop assembly procedures for new products.<BR>Essential responsibilities will include:<BR>1. Assemble, test, and calibrate assigned products, following standard procedures and practices<BR>2. Perform a wide variety of complex mechanical assembly operations including, but not limited to:<BR>? Assemble highly complex mechanisms and other mechanical assemblies<BR>? Troubleshoot/repair of complex mechanical assemblies and systems<BR>? Complex motor drive assemblies<BR>? Bonding, balancing, curing operations<BR>? Soldering, crimping, fastening<BR>? Alignment and calibration<BR>3. Uses a wide variety of assembly hand tools, measuring instruments and power tools including micrometers, vernier calipers, depth/height gauges, plug gauges, drill and arbor presses, tools and fixtures, used in production.<BR>4. Works from blueprints, routing, method instruction sheets, bills of material and data package specifications sheets as provided, and has the demonstrated ability to work from very limited instruction information.<BR>5. Performs highly complex tasks, with minimal direction, in the most efficient, productive manner, using initiative and judgment to promote quality of workmanship among fellow assemblers.<BR>6.
