               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Registered Nurse-Quality Management Coordinator<BR>Location: Oregon-Hood River<BR>Job Number:_18273<BR>Providence is calling a full-time Quality Management Coordinator for a day-shift position at Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital in Hood River, OR.<BR><BR>In this position, you will:<BR>* Provide assessment and evaluation support to concurrent and retrospective quality and resource management in accordance with Medicare regulations, JCAHO requirements, third party payor guidelines and medical, administrative and program staffs.<BR>* Actively work with physician leadership, directors and managers in the development and implementation of quality efforts, including preparation, risk monitoring and reduction in clinical and non-clinical systems, and coordinates multidisciplinary quality improvement projects.<BR>* Act as a facilitator and mentor for department teams related to performance improvement.<BR>* Authorize and makes decisions on recommendations.<BR>* Serve as a resource and consultant for Quality Improvement activities and Medical Staff quality activities.<BR>* Assist in development and performance of educational activities as related to Quality Improvement, Accreditation requirments and Resource Utilization.<BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>Qualifications for this position include:<BR>* RN/BSN required, Masters Degree preferred.<BR>* Current RN license required.<BR>* Five years acute medical-surgical nursing experience.<BR>* Minimum of five years of hospital experience in a progressively responsible position requiring contact with various departments.<BR>* Must be self-starter, able to communicate clearly and concisely with levels of nursing, administration, and physicians.<BR>* Demonstrated leadership experience. <BR><BR>About Providence in Oregon<BR><BR>As the largest health care system and largest private employer in Oregon, Providence offers exceptional work environments and unparalleled career opportunities.<BR><BR>The Providence Experience begins each time our patients or their families have an encounter with a Providence team member and continues throughout their visit or stay.
