WorkSource will screen all applicants and refer only qualified candidates.</b><BR><BR><b>WORKSOURCE COLUMBIA BASIN POLICY IS TO MAKE JOB REFERRALS ONLY TO THOSE DRESSED APPROPRIATELY FOR THE OCCUPATION AND WORKPLACE FOR WHICH THEY ARE APPLYING</b><BR><BR>HARVEST OPERATOR, FULL-TIME SEASONAL (Y) <BR><BR><b>JOB DESCRIPTION</b><BR>This position is in Hermiston OR.  The person in this position will be responsible to operate non-specialized farm equipment such as sprayers, Braco's, Lilliston's, pilers, bobcats, mowers, lifters, or other harvest equipment.  Will be responsible for the operation of basic farm equipment such as pack tractors and mowers and other equipment as required, learning and performing basic preventative maintenance required for each piece of equipment assigned.  including performing multiple duties under direct supervision including repair and fabrication, maintaining/cleaning of the shop or outside grounds. Employment to last until end of season, located in Hermiston area.  Employer is willing to train.<BR><BR><b>JOB REQUIREMENTS:</b><BR>* Must have knowledge operating farm equipment such as sprayers, Braco's, Lilliston's, pilers, bobcats, mowers, lifters, or other harvest equipment, pack tractors, mowers and related.<BR><BR>*Must be responsible for performing basic preventative maintenance, repair and fabrication, maintaining and cleaning.<BR><BR>*Must have experience operating machinery in all weather conditions.<BR><BR>*knowledge of an adherence to safety procedures and precausions.<BR>*Must be 18 years old to operate farm machinery.<BR><BR><b>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</b><BR><BR><b>HOURS/DAYS/SCHEDULE:</b><BR>Varies, weekends, night shifts.<BR> <BR><b>SALARY/WAGE/BENEFITS:</b><BR>$ 10.00 per hour - $DOE.  No benefits.<BR><BR><b>CLOSING DATE/DEADLINE:</b><BR>The recruitment period will remain active until filled, expired or at the direction of the employer.  Agricultural and Food Processing referrals are restricted to applicants within commuting distance of the work site.<BR><BR><b>HOW TO APPLY/REQUEST A REFERRAL:</b><BR>Contact your nearest WorkSource Office in person with this job order number for referral instructions (with a resume.)<BR>If you are referred to this position, your name will be shared with the employer for verification and follow up purposes.<BR></font></td>
