<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Agency Sales Manager<BR>Location: United States-Washington-Issaquah<BR>Other Locations:<BR>Position Details<BR>This position is located in Richland, WA.<BR><BR>Position Objective<BR>The Agency Sales Manager is a strategic business partner who ensures alignment with corporate goals through the successful and sustainable implementation of agency business plans. The Agency Sales Manager also serves as a liaison between American Family agents and the organization by engaging agents in corporate strategy and direction through effective communication. In addition, the Agency Sales Manager establishes strong business relationships with American Family agents in order to influence desired results.Primary Accountabilities<BR>* Agency Profit (20%)<BR>* Utilizes risk management reports to manage agent profit activities.<BR>* Maintains and manages district''s profit and individual agency profit.<BR>* Works with agencies to implement and support profit programs and company mandates.<BR>* Agency Business Operations Management (20%)<BR>* Coaches and develops agents in the business operation and management of their agencies.<BR>* Provides business knowledge and expertise to agents to ensure the successful operation of their agencies.<BR>* Identifies agency best practices best suited to individual agencies and encourages agents to utilize them where appropriate; fosters the innovation of best practices within the district.<BR>* Acts as a sounding board for innovative business ideas and ensures that these ideas are shared and integrated across all sales regions when appropriate.<BR>* Monitors and manages the effective execution of company initiatives for the district as they pertain to individual agencies.<BR>* Performance Coaching (20%)<BR>* Assists agents in targeting and prioritizing the best sales activities and opportunities for them in their market and individual situation.<BR>* Builds strong relationship with agents and staff, adjusting their coaching style to the individual.<BR>* Delivers coaching in person and in the moment.<BR>* Delivers effective coaching by recognizing the importance of agent job satisfaction.<BR>* Coaches agents on effective selling practices and procedures; attends sales calls when appropriate.<BR>* Management/Leadership for Sales District (15%)<BR>* Manages direct reports, agents, systems, and projects to achieve operational goals. This is done in accordance with Company policies and annual Sales State Expectations.<BR>* Provides leadership by exhibiting influence and expertise, thus affecting the results of the sales district. Develops staff through coaching, providing performance feedback, providing effective performance reviews, and establishing development plans.<BR>* Performs administrative activities in a timely manner to effectively manage the sales district, including but not limited to budget preparations, report preparation, staff projections, and salary administration.<BR>* Develops, plans and executes district-level sales campaigns.<BR>* Assists in developing agent capacity plans by providing local </font></td>
