               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Position Title: Mechanical Engineer<BR><BR>Position Description: Our client is seeking Mechanical Engineering candidates with a strong history of product development for a contract to hire role. <BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering <BR>Minimum 5 years of engineering experience <BR>Minimum 5 years experience modeling parts, assemblies and creating documentation in CAD applications, preferably SolidWorks<BR><BR>Preferred Experience:<BR><BR>SolidWorks <BR>Analyzing parts and assemblies in CAE applications, preferably SolidWorks Simulation <BR>Designing medical products <BR>Knowledge of HALT and HASS <BR>Working in a cross-functional environment <BR>Graphic design software (e.g. Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator) <BR>Ability to handle simultaneous tasks <BR>Design for manufacturability and assembly<BR><BR>Responsibilities:<BR><BR>Execute complex designs in the following disciplines: plastic injection molding, vacuum forming, machining, casting, die cutting and sheet metal <BR>Apply theoretical calculation to design in areas such as thermodynamics, fluid flow, or structural analysis by testing mathematical models to validate the capabilities and parameters of the design and prove the prototype will do as design indicates <BR>Help prepare product requirements <BR>Perform testing, provide technical reports and presentations <BR>Actively appraise technology and product concepts to keep product lines competitive and moving toward excellence by attending seminars, reading related articles and talking to vendors <BR>Schedule own development activities <BR>Optimize development of project/product by tradeoffs of schedule, development cost, tooling cost, product cost, functionality, reliability, and manufacturability to meet the goals and objectives of the company<BR><BR>Benefits Package: Protingent offers competitive salary, a choice of two medical plans, pre-tax commuter benefits, Paid Time Off (PTO) and an administered 401k plan.<BR><BR>About Protingent: Protingent is a niche provider of top Engineering and IT talent to Software, Electronics, Medical Device, Telecom and Aerospace companies nationwide.
