You will provide sustaining support on all products currently released and supported by their medical division. Support will be provided when issues are escalated regarding product performance. This may include the participation on special teams that investigate product issues and the development of associated action plans. This is a flex-time position which may require shift work or participation in an on-call rotation and scheduling may vary according to the needs of the customer or the organization. Some travel may be required both Domestic and International, but less than 40%.<BR>Your Technical Support Engineer Job Responsibilities:<BR>* Management of Field Actions/Product Recalls coupled with accurate and timely feedback of completion status.<BR>* Act as the Service Interface between R&D and Manufacturing for new products.<BR>* Participate in the launch of new products and develop Product Support Plans for Localization and Implementation by the company''s Customers and Distributors as well as participate in the obsolescence of discontinued products.<BR>* Develop Service Documentation as required.<BR>* Attend Product Quality Team meetings as assigned.<BR>* Determine Tool and Test Equipment Specs needed for the field.<BR>* Participate in routine communications to the company''s Customers and Distributors regarding Product and Service Support issues. Listen to and communicate accurate and reliable information/data to the Research & Development Team for problem resolution/product improvement. Develop and distribute general technical communications to Services team.<BR>* Provide Technical Product Training as needed.<BR>* Manage and maintain an Information and Knowledge Database.<BR>* Other duties as required.<BR>This is a Direct Hire position in Issaquah, WA and offered throughVolt Technical Resources, located in Redmond, WA.
