               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;"><b>JOB DESCRIPTION:</b><BR>Primary responsibilities to include determination of inorganic constituents using ion chromatography (IC). Other responsibilities to include analysis of short holding time analyses including but not limited to phosphorus, color, turbidity, BOD, nitrates and other analytical methodologies as needed.<BR><BR><b>JOB REQUIREMENTS:</b><BR>* Bachelors degree in Chemistry<BR>* Must be organized, a self-starter. and have attention to detail <BR>* Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a group<BR>* Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English due to nature of position<BR>* Must be willing to work overtime, shift work, and holidays as needed<BR>* Must pass criminal background check and drug screening<BR><BR><b>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</b><BR>* Previous experience in any of the job duties outlined above is a plus<BR>* 1-5 years of lab experience desired<BR><BR><b>HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE:</b><BR>* 2:00PM to 10:00PM<BR>* Monday through Friday (some weekend work possible)<BR>* Some overtime or day shift required due to fluctuating workload<BR><BR><B>SALARY/WAGE/BENEFITS:</b><BR>* Wage will depend on experience and qualifications<BR>* Benefit Package<BR><BR><b>CLOSING DATE/DEADLINE:</b><BR>* Open until filled or at the direction of the employer<BR><BR><b>HOW TO APPLY/REQUEST A REFERRAL: </b>  <BR>* <b>In person process: </b> Contact your nearest WorkSource Office with WA job number.<BR>* Employment Specialists are available from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday at WorkSource Cowlitz/Wahkiakum.<BR>* <b>Online process: </b> Email the required application materials to <u>bsucowlitz@esd.wa.gov</u>.
