He / she operates as an effective team member and is highly focused<BR>upon execution of a variety of assigned work tasks in a timely, high quality and thorough<BR>manner. He / she has responsibility to effectively and efficiently communicate ideas and<BR>information through multiple mediums and maintain appropriate demeanor at all times. He<BR>/ she has responsibility for producing results as agreed upon with his or her manager. He /<BR>she establishes and cultivates successful peer and customer relationships. The Associate<BR>Business Systems Analyst seizes initiative to optimize all tools and processes at his / her<BR>disposal in order to create and sustain maximum value for the business he / she serves.<BR>Position Responsibilities Business Process<BR><BR>* Business Process: Broaden knowledge of business processes and systems specific to assigned duties. Leverage and optimize tools available to support business processes.<BR><BR>* Functional Analysis: Gather and document functional requirements. Collaborate in the root cause analysis of incidents.<BR><BR>* Functional Design: Contribute to the design of functional solutions. Document design using functional specifications. Collaborate with IT partners to ensure that functional designs are appropriately translated into technical designs.<BR><BR>Infrastructure Services<BR><BR>* Information Security: Validate business functionality requirements for updated and / or new application security roles.<BR><BR>* Availability / Recovery: Through careful business process analysis, identify and recommend availability requirements in business terms.<BR><BR>* Capacity / Performance: Identify areas of business process performance problems and partner with peers to resolve.<BR><BR>Application Services<BR><BR>* Technical Analysis: Gather and document technical requirements. Identify and resolve and / or escalate system problems.<BR><BR>* Technical Design: Contribute to technical design decisions. Document design using technical specifications.<BR><BR>* Construct / Implement: Deliver solutions (usually configuration) that are contemporary and in accordance with architectural guidelines.
