               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:<BR>To accomodate our six day processing environment, please note that this position will work a modified 4 day work week schedule that includes every Sunday.<BR> <BR>In addition to the standard Item Processing skill set referenced below, previous cash handling and ATM deposit experience is highly desirable.<BR> <BR>Job summary:<BR>Responsible for one of the following duties in a processing environment including, but not limited to:  data preparation/receiving, data entry, online reject repair, balancing, dispatch, printing, rendering, check filing, bookkeeping, statement preparation and returns.  May be responsible for tasks such as encoding transit checks and POD documents as per client requirements.<BR> <BR>GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<BR>• Identify errors in calculations and balances and make corrections.<BR>• Receive and prepare physical documents for delivery to the sorting department.<BR>• Perform online reject-repair using a CRT and physical documents.<BR>• Physically repairs rejects.<BR>• Prepare transit cash letters.<BR>• Prepares and dispatches client statements and adjustments as needed.<BR>• Prepare cash letter of return items.<BR>• Perform data entry on an input device/application.<BR>• Reconcile and properly document all out of proof conditions.<BR>• Reconcile and properly document all out of proof conditions.<BR>• Compare work product with word standards for accuracy.<BR>• Other related duties assigned as needed.<BR> <BR>EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:<BR>High school degree or equivalent.<BR> <BR>GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:<BR>• Capacity to lift or move up to 30 pounds. <BR>• Proficient written and oral communication skills in dealing with employees or external customers/clients.<BR>• Knowledge of procedures used to segregate and distribute output <BR>• Knowledge of balancing and correction procedures <BR>• Proficient in entering data into various PC software packages <BR>• Proficient in classifying computer output <BR>• Knowledge to operate a computer effectively and utilize software packages required by the position <BR>• Proficiency to encode 1,000-1,500 items per hour<BR> <BR>Intermediate professional role.  Moderate skills with high level of proficiency.  Has complete understanding of data control department.  May coach more junior technical staff.  Works under general supervision with latitude for independent judgment.  May consult with senior peers on more complex issues.  Typically requires a minimum of two (2) or more years of data control/encoding experience with at least one (1) year as a Data Control Clerk I.<BR>  <BR>ADA Disclaimer:  In developing this job description care was taken to include all competencies needed to successfully perform in this position.  However, for Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) purposes, the essential functions of the job may or may not have been described for purposes of ADA reasonable accommodation.  All reasonable accommodation requests will be reviewed and evaluated on a case-by-case basis.<BR>  <BR><BR>EEO/AA Employer</font></td>
