In addition the CSS Manager is responsible for developing the operating direction for providing breakthrough customer experiences for our traveler?s at every point of contact pre and post trip. This position leads the team that provides service to our customers from their first call through post trip services. The Manager Sales and Customer Service ensures each and every customer and potential customer has a break through? experience every time they interact with us; leads all communication efforts of the Customer Service team; sets the direction, goals and expectations for the team. Develops and implements plans to achieve these goals and creates an environment that thrives on service to our members and on driving innovation. The Manager of Sales and Customer Service sets the direction for customer relationship management, work flow processes, performance expectations and mentoring to all members of the sales and service team to be the absolute best performer they can be. They are responsible for the performance management and development of a dynamic team of supervisors by strengthening leadership capabilities and by strong succession planning. The Manager Sales and Customer Service ensures that each member of their team has dynamic training, solid coaching and a high level of employee engagement. Models and acts in accordance with REI?s guiding values and mission.<BR><BR>Responsibilities include:<BR>? Identify and communicate key responsibilities and practices to ensure the organization promotes a successful attitude, confidence in leadership, and teamwork to achieve business results.<BR>? Support the implementation of company programs, procedures, methods and practices to promote REI key messages.<BR>? Challenge and inspire employees to achieve business results.<BR>? Ensure employees adhere to legal and operational compliance requirements.<BR>? Oversee training and development of employees directly and indirectly managed and makes effective staffing decisions.<BR>? Conduct and ensure the completion of performance reviews.<BR>?
