The Marketing Research Analyst uses their strong quantitative research skills and solid knowledge of marketing principles to answer questions about outdoor enthusiasts, customers and members. Primary responsibilities include developing and analyzing primary and secondary research projects, survey tool management and programming (Vovici), SPSS analysis, database mining using Business Objects or SAS, interpreting multiple sources of data to develop a strong point of view (e.g., white papers), and supporting other members of the research team. This analyst serves as an internal consultant and represents the voice of the customer across the organization by advocating a customer-focused approach to REI''s business. The Marketing Research Analyst also models and acts in accordance with REI''s guiding values and mission.<BR><BR>? Designs, manages and analyzes marketing research projects that inform strategic decisions, provides relative and actionable data, and supports clients'' business objectives;<BR>? Provides support for project planning and estimation, analysis and database mining to members of the Marketing Research team as well as the broader Customer Insights clientele;<BR>? Serves as the primary user of SPSS and assists team with statistical and analytical support;<BR>? Performs online survey tool programming and oversees customer panel development; serves as a technical liaison between marketing research, customer analytics and IT (Information Technology);<BR>? Performs data mining, analysis, and audience selection using the REI customer data warehouse;<BR>? Provides ongoing collaborative research support to internal clients and partners; develops and maintains strong relationships with internal clients and external vendors using a professional consultative approach to communication;<BR>? Assists in educating internal clients and employees about proper research practices and applications.<BR><BR>Qualifications: ?
