The role contributes to the growth and profitability of REI by supporting the development, sourcing and management of the materials supplier base enabling the optimization of service levels, while mitigating risk. This role also facilitates the management of raw materials from commercialization through bulk production, reliably delivering to development, quality, margin and timeline expectations. Models and acts in accordance with REI''s guiding values and mission.<BR><BR>Responsibilities:<BR><BR>? Compiles seasonal forecasts for soft/hard greige commitments to ensure REI has access to required capacities and on-time delivery of bulk production. Compares forecast trends by season, department, and type and reports on findings, creates alerts for large-scale changes.<BR>? Monitors and reviews yield information and works with cross-functional partners to resolve issues, questions, and distributes seasonal forecasts by fabric and supplier.<BR>? Tracks bulk material shipments monitoring quantity and deliveries against mill PI, supports the identification of supply base issues relative to bulk production (quality, delivery, etc.); creates reports to analyze information to assess root cause, improvement opportunities and associated risks; communicates and tracks against corrective action plans as required.<BR>? Communicates with mills regarding MOQ questions on bulk orders and production delays. Works with Materials Production Manager on resolutions and communicates expectations and action plans.<BR>? Supports deployment of materials strategies to consistently deliver; quality, cost and service level expectations.<BR>? Supports strategic direction and priorities for Materials Production.<BR>? Supports the development and implementation of seasonal materials sourcing strategies and timeline to meet divisional needs while achieving quality, margin, lead-time and delivery expectations.<BR>? Works with suppliers in strategically desirable locations to meet materials needs and improve supply chain speed and efficiency; facilitates the qualification and on-boarding of new vendors to support business requirements; maintains strong relationships with ex </font></td>
