               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Spencer Fluid Power, a subsidiary of Applied Industrial Technologies, is seeking an experienced FLUID POWER FIELD & SHOP TECHNICIAN for their Kent, WA office. In this position you will work in the field and the shop to evaluate, troubleshoot, repair and test complex power systems, cylinders and assemblies. You will also analyze and repair power units, pumps, motors, valves and instruct others to perform these duties.<BR> <BR>JOB DUTIES<BR> <BR>Work from drawings, prints, schematics, diagrams, bills of materials, customer specifications and written/verbal instructions. Plan, layout, determine methods, materials and operational sequences for the building and repair of hydraulic systems and assemblies. Work in-house or travel as necessary to customer site for installation, trouble shooting, repair and start-up of hydraulic systems.<BR>Order materials as necessary and complete timely repairs as approved by customer.<BR>Layout parts, hardware to build and install subassemblies and systems. Check assemblies and systems for proper construction and alignment. Insure fasteners and fitting are properly torque. Test and verify proper operation and adherence to customer requirements.<BR>Troubleshoot new units or customer repairs for motors, pumps, valves, cylinders and other components. Tear down, clean and analyze units to determine extent of repair and quote customer. Replace defective parts, test and make final adjustments as approved by customer.<BR>Use lift equipment as necessary to move and position parts.<BR>Record job information including test documentation and sign off.<BR>Requirements<BR>  <BR>Minimum 5 years experience in component level trouble shooting/repair and field service work.<BR>High school diploma or GED required.<BR>Working knowledge of all brands of pumps, valves motors and cylinders<BR> Working knowledge of troubleshooting hydraulic circuits<BR> <BR>PREFERRED EXPERIENCE<BR> <BR>Previous supervision and leadership skills<BR>Strong customer service skills<BR>Purchasing experience<BR>Hydraulic certifications<BR>Bending tube and pipe<BR>General welding<BR>About our Company:<BR> <BR>Spencer Fluid Power is one of 19 Fluid Power Subsidiaries of Applied Industrial Technologies.
