Position Description: In this position, the Technician will perform test setup in support of Production Test capability, including: * Procurement of test equipment. * Creating test procedures. * Performing validation of test setup. * Training Operators on the operation of equipment or systems to specified requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Test Engineering Technician: * Performs set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and Mechanical Assemblies. * Reads and understands technical drawings, procedures and industry standards. * Performs test program verifications; performs verifications on test equipment, as well as routine maintenance. * Operates Programmable Quality Control equipment. * Ensures that proper test-related documentation is completed, verified and approved. * Ensures quality of all incoming and outgoing projects. This is an estimated 4-6 month contingent / temporary position in Kent, WA, throughVolt Engineering Services, headquartered in Seattle, WA. Requirements: Required Skills for this Test Engineering Technician position include the following: * Associate''s degree in a technology-related field, or 2+ years of Test experience in a Manufacturing environment * Ability to use Precision Measuring devices * Solid documentation, organization, and recordkeeping skills * Moderate to advanced skill in using Microsoft Word and Excel; basic skill in using Microsoft Access and PowerPoint * Comprehensive knowledge of equipment utilized for Product Testing * Knowledge of and ability to comprehend Engineering drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams * Knowledgeable of all Manufacturing Processes and Procedures * Good mathematical skills * Must be able to liftup to45 pounds Soft Skills/Experience/Knowledge: * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to work under pressure in meeting time schedules * Meets or exceeds the core values as described in the employee handbook * Successfully meets daily job, reporting and documentation requirements * Able to be self-supervised/discipline * Demonstrates flexibility in work assignments * Ability to prioritize and handle multiple deadlines under pressure * Effective communication skills, both written and oral * Demonstrates excell </td>
