               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;"><b>JOB DESCRIPTION:</b>  **Job is located in Republic**<BR>Mental Health Counselor.<BR>Primary responsibility is to provide outpatient (individual and group) evidence-based treatment for adult mental illness and also with co-occurring disorders.  Conduct mental health assessments and establish an accurate DSM diagnosis; develop treatment plans.  Additionally, conduct individual chemical use evaluations/assessments for adults/youths.  Provide case management for consumers with mental disorders.  Serve as a member of the crisis response team as a DMHP (Designated Mental Health Professional).  Perform other duties as assigned by the Mental Health Services Supervisor <BR><BR><b>JOB REQUIREMENTS:</b><BR>- Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling or Behavioral Sciences from an accredited school<BR>- 2 years experience in the direct treatment of mental health ill individuals<BR>- WA State Licensed Mental Health Counselor or Social Worker as defined in WAC 246-809 strongly preferred. Chemical Dependency Professional (CDP) or CDP-Trainee (CDP-T) Certification strongly preferred as defined in WAC 246-811<BR>- 2 years experience in substance abuse or related field<BR>- Good written or oral communication skills and able to complete administrative and clinical records. <BR>- Computer literacy desirable-clinical software used<BR>- Must have driver's license, vehicle insurance, & able to use own vehicle if agency vehicle is not available (mileage reimbursement paid). <BR>- Abstract of driving record for past three years required.<BR>- Satisfactory criminal history background check results are a condition of employment.<BR><BR><b>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</b><BR>- Computer literacy desirable-clinical software used<BR><BR><b>HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE:</b><BR>Full time   37.5 hours/week.  <BR><BR><b>WAGE /SALARY/ BENEFITS:</b><BR>Starting annual salary based on qualifications and experience.
