Refer to the requirements of each position below.** *<BR>The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting providers in delivering quality patient care. Greets and prepares patients for exam. Takes patients history and vitals. Assists provider with exam/surgical procedures and diagnostic testing. Performs tests, administer injections and medications, as per provider instruction. Performs x-rays (clinics with x-ray services). Cleans, organizes, and stocks exam rooms. Prepares instruments for sterilization and sterilizes instruments whenever necessary. Answers and handles phone calls, schedules appointments, calls in prescriptions. Performs related clerical duties including pulling charts, filing reports. Inputs and retrieves data in the electronic medical record system.<BR>Qualifications and Requirements Medical Assistant Non-Certified:  -High School graduate or equivalent preferred.  -Graduate from an AAMA Medical Assistant Program required.   -One-year of Medical Assistant experience in a medical office or healthcare setting strongly preferred. - Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification required.  -Certified or able to be certified in categories A, C, and E as a Health Care Assistant. -National certification (CMA) through AAMA within one-year from date of hire.<BR>- Strong computer keyboard skills preferred.<BR>Certified Medical Assistant: -High School graduate or equivalent preferred.  - Graduate from a AAMA Medical Assistant Program required.   -One-year of Medical Assistant experience in a medical office or healthcare setting required. - Current national Medical Assistant certification or registration through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) required. - Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification required.  -Certified or able to be certified in categories A, C, and E as a Health Care Assistant.<BR>- Strong computer keyboard skills preferred.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        </font></td>
