               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Medical Technologist ASCP-Per Diem<BR>Department: Laboratory<BR>Req Number: 15569<BR>Schedule: Per-Diem<BR>Shift: Varies<BR>Hours: 8<BR>Hours Per Pay Period: 16<BR>Salary: UF1 450: Minimum $23.78 per hour + DOE<BR>Job Details: <BR>* Job Summary<BR>Performs testing and provides services as requested by physicians and nursing staff in an accurate and timely manner according to the testing procedures and policies as they are provided in the procedural manuals.<BR>Qualifications and Requirements<BR>Education Background<BR>-Bachelor of Science degree in a scientific field required.<BR>Work Experience<BR>-At least 1 year work experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred with a MT (ASCP) or equivalent certification required. -Laboratory Information System experience preferred.<BR>License or Certification<BR>-MT (ASCP) or equivalent certification in good standing required. -CPR Healthcare Provider certification required by date of hire (if patient contact position).<BR>This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement between Evergreen Hospital Medical Center and the United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW), Local 21 which contains a "union security" provision.
