These capabilities are supported by large, complex multi-year IT projects.<BR><BR>The Kaiser Permanente Information Technology (KP-IT) HP Claims Sub-Portfolio seeks a Technology Consulting Specialist to help ensure the successful delivery of these IT solutions. You will be joining a high performing, motivated team of business and IT professionals eager to deliver outstanding solutions against aggressive timetables.<BR><BR>You will have key responsibility for supporting the successful development, installation and implementation of a highly integrated claims solution (ClaimsConnect) that supports all insurance products in the following geographic areas: Northern CA, Southern CA, CO, HI, OR, WA, OH and Mid-Atlantic States. This solution will receive and adjudicate all referrals, authorizations, hospital and professional claims, as well as all internal encounters. The technological suite must remain in full compliance with all regulations, accreditation and SOX standards related to claims management.<BR><BR>You will aid in building a team of Database Administrators and Quality Assurance Engineers and will provide ''dotted-line'' leadership in setting up development platforms, environments, build and testing frameworks, databases, mid-tier configuration, etc. within the ClaimsConnect solution, using varied technologies such as Java Enterprise Edition, Oracle & PL/SQL, C#, and ASP.NET, among other technologies. You will partner with the Release Management team for ensuring a smooth transition of developed code to a deployable package.<BR><BR>You will help plan, organize, and manage projects related to building a new development team. You will coach Associate, Intermediate, Senior, and Lead technical staff members. You will play a key role in helping to set technological direction and road maps within the ClaimsConnect solution.
