Performs complex activities such as scheduling, insurance verification, registration, balancing of co-pay money and balancing of daily or weekly deposits. Position serves as a resource for other staff, problem solves independently, mentors others and is self-directed. Position also interfaces with physicians and other staff on a regular basis and may do limited amount of coding and charge entry.<BR><BR><BR><BR>Job Qualifications: <BR><BR>Education:<BR>High School Graduate or GED equivalent.<BR><BR>Experience:<BR>A minimum of one year of health care experience or equivalent education in at least one of the following areas required:<BR>* <BR>Admitting<BR>* <BR>Medical Records/Health Information<BR>* <BR>Applicable clerical support experience<BR>Familiarity with Medical Terminology. <BR><BR>Skills:<BR>Communications skills.<BR>Proficient in computer/data entry skills.<BR>CPR Certification Preferred.<BR>Supports and Models the Legacy Preferred Employee Profile. </font></td>
