The person to complete our team and make our recipe for success more than just a metaphor.<BR>Position Overview:<BR>Seasonal Sales Associates help create an experience for our customer that delights and inspires. This position assists in executing and supporting all store initiatives that contribute to generating sales.<BR>Job Responsibilities:(including, but not limited to)<BR>* Sell, Sell, Sell!<BR>* Provide Sur La Table customers with exemplary service<BR>* Greet customers and engage them in conversation to discover their needs<BR>* Inform customers with accurate product information using features and benefits<BR>* Serve multiple customers at various stages of selling<BR>* Make recommendations according to customer needs in order to build and close sales<BR>* Recommend alternative purchases if desired product is currently out of stock<BR>* Maintain a working knowledge of available stock both on the floor and in stock room area<BR>* Use all available resources to enhance your own product konwledge and understand company initiatives to become the &quot;Trusted Authority&quot; to customers<BR>* Continuously stock and replenish the selling floor in accordance with visual standards during downtime and when assigned<BR>* Execute merchandise standards including (but not limited to) price changes and floor set<BR>* Adhere to all Company policies and procedures including pricing, and loss prevention<BR>* Support store gift registry goals<BR>* Maintain an organized and clean store including (but not limited to) stock and bathroom during downtime and when assigned<BR>* Protect the assets of the company by ensuring Loss Prevention critical controls and maintained, and communicate any concerns regarding merchandise, or policy violations to management in a timely manner.<BR>* Communicate effectively and professionally to customers and employees<BR>* Mayoperate cash register per policy, POS guidelines and directives<BR>Job Requirements:(including, but not limited to)<BR>* 1+ year experience selling in a retail and/or merchandise driven environment<BR>* 1+ year experience delivering outstanding customer service<BR>* Some experience with retail POS systems (preferred)<BR>* Available to work a flexible schedule including nights & weekends as business dictates<BR>* Able to stand and/or walk for an exten                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  </font></td>
