This dedication assures every shareholder, customer and the nation that the name General Dynamics will always mean Strength on Your Side.<BR><BR>Wide range of tasks and responsibilities in maintaining environmental, health and safety (EHS) regulatory compliance and EHS Management system (ISO and OSHA) conformance at ourStryker field sites and locations. Tasks and responsibilities include, however not limited to:<BR>* Oversee all EHS related matters for the site<BR>* Mentor/coach/train management and personnel on proper EHS maintenance and procedures<BR>* Participate in internal audits of site activities to assess EHS compliance and ISO/OSHA conformance status<BR>* Review of new and modified operations and/or equipment for EHS compliance<BR>* Development / modification of procedures to maintain EHS compliance<BR>* Collection and reporting of EHS related data<BR>* Team participation to resolve / mitigate EHS issues<BR>* Coordination of waste management and disposal activities<BR>* Participate / Conduct EHS inspections and investigations<BR>* Occasional travel in support of EHS reviews at other GDLS locations nation-wide.<BR><BR>Bachelor''s degree in safety, management, industrial hygiene, environmental engineering, or closely related field preferred, but will consider experience in lieu of degree.<BR>Five (5) to 10 years of related work experience.<BR>Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, Labor & Industries and DOT regulations and requirements.<BR>Strong computer skills in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)<BR>Must be able to interpret government regulations, policies and procedures and execute accordingly to ensure compliance.<BR>Must have experience administering ISO, L & I or OSHA.<BR>Must be highly organized, a self starter, and work with minimal supervision.<BR>Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.<BR>Ability to meet and maintain GDLS ASR restrictions.<BR>Ability to wear standard personal protective equipment (PPE) (i.e. safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe shoes, respirator, etc.).<BR>Ability to meet and maintain Company deployment requirements<BR>Must be able to obtain a security clearance if necessary.<BR><BR>General Dynamics Land Systems is an Equal Opportunity Employer.<BR><BR><BR>Apply Online Directly with Land Systems                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               </font></td>
