               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Job Descriptions:<BR><BR>AmeriCold Logistics, the largest provider of temperature controlled distribution services in the US, is seeking a Regional Safety Manager to support our NorthWest region.<BR><BR>Primary Responsibility:<BR>Responsible for the management of Americold''s Safety Program, including the administration of all training, complioance and risk management-related activities for a designated region(s).<BR>Essential Functions:<BR>1.   Demonstrate technical skills in the area of safety management<BR>2.   Advise managers and associates of safety hazards<BR>3.   Develop plans to eliminate safety hazards<BR>4.   Conduct comprehensive compliance audits<BR>5.   Work to reduce leading loss drivers for worker compensation claims<BR>6.   Facilitiate Behavior Safety projects at various locations<BR>7.   Conduct various types of safety training<BR>8.   Manage required programs to attain directed cost savings<BR>9.  Ability to interpreet OSHA regulations and apply to everyday business<BR>10.  Assure compliance with apprpriate local, state and federal guidelines<BR>11. Multi-tak oriented, to cover numerous activities within assigned region<BR>Required Experience:<BR><BR>Qualifications and Requirements:<BR><BR>* BS degree, preferably in Safety Science, Safety Engineering, Safety Management, Risk Management or Physical Sciences<BR>* Minimum of 4 years of experience in managing safety related programs<BR>* Knowledge of safety training management<BR>* Knowledge of state/federal standards and regulations<BR>* Ceritifed OSHA 501 Trainer a plus<BR>* Experience in warehouse or transportation industry preferred<BR>* Strong organizational skills are mandatory<BR>* Excellent written and verbal communication skills<BR>* Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization and external contacts<BR>* Solid decision making skills utilizing sound judgment<BR>* Ability to speak and write Spanish is a plus<BR><BR>While performing the essential functions of this job, the associate is frequently required to sit; hear or talk: use close vision; use hands to grasp, handle or feel objects; and type and manipulate controls. Associate is occasionally required to use distance vision, stand, kneel or crouch and lift up to 20 lbs.
