Learn more at www.multicarejobs.org<BR><BR>Position Summary<BR>The Transporter is responsible for the safe and timely transport of patients, supplies, and equipment throughout the facility, and for providing assistance to the units such as cleaning equipment, stocking supplies. This position works under direct supervision, and works closely with and under the direction of nursing staff. This position requires a service-oriented individual with professional integrity and mature judgment. Decision-making is limited to daily routine responsibilities. Internal contacts include patient care staff throughout the health center. External contacts include patients, patient families, and physicians<BR><BR>Minimum Requirements<BR>One year previous transport or related healthcare experience preferred.<BR><BR>Education/Licenses/Certifications:<BR>High School graduate or equivalent preferred<BR>CPR certification required<BR>Additional Information<BR><BR>Must be available to complete up to 2 weeks of hospital based orientation.<BR>MultiCare is an equal opportunity employer that celebrates diversity at all levels of our organization.
