If you are looking for an opportunity to provide technical support to a wide variety of state of the art electronics assembly and production equipment, including robotics, surface mount technology component placement equipment, through-hole component placement equipment, PCB soldering equipment, and plastic injection molding equipment, while being part of a highly respected company in the electrical control sector, then this position is for you!<BR><BR>This position is located at SEL?s newest, state of the art manufacturing facility in Lewiston, ID where you''ll enjoy an unmatched quality of life. Enjoy the smaller town life: country space, freedom from traffic, easy access to recreational activities in nearby mountains, rivers, and forests, as well as great schools and universities.Equipment Maintenance TechnicianResponsibilities:<BR>* Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations on complex production equipment.<BR>* Troubleshoot complex production equipment failures with minimal direction and guidance.<BR>* Responsible equipment up-time goals for assigned equipment sets.<BR>* Participate in the evaluation, selection and implementation of complex production equipment.<BR>* Lead teams to identify and solve complex production equipment issues.<BR>* Train Equipment Maintenance personnel and operators on machine operation and maintenance procedures.<BR>* Provide mentorship and guidance to Equipment Maintenance personnel.<BR>* Enter and maintain accurate entries in the equipment maintenance database.<BR>* Practice the SEL Values.<BR>* Follow and improve manufacturing processes.Qualifications:<BR>* 2 year Associates degree in electronic technology or equivalent experience.<BR>* General knowledge of programming critical path production equipment.<BR>* Solid understanding of electronic, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic technology and theory.<BR>* Solid knowledge of analog and digital electronics.<BR>* Solid knowledge of utilizing modern test equipment to diagnose equipment failures.<BR>* Excellent communication, writing and speaking skills.<BR>* Experience troubleshooting and maintaining automated manufacturing equipment, including analog, digital, and microprocessor circuits as well as vision and robotics systems.<BR>* Ability to accept and understand direction, learn new skills and assume new responsibilities with a positive attitude.<BR>* Ability to work cooperatively and effectively in a team environment.<BR>* Ability to perform assigned tasks under minimal direction and guidance.<BR>* Background check results satisfactory to SEL.<BR>* Negative drug test result(s)Preferred Qualifications:<BR>* Basic knowledge of programming automated production equipment.<BR>* Basic knowledge of printed circuit                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              </font></td>
