Enjoy the smaller town life: country space, freedom from traffic, easy access to recreational activities in nearby mountains, rivers, and forests, as well as great schools and universities.Responsibilities:<BR>* Develop programs for various manufacturing equipment, including injection molding machines, robots, vacuum dryers, and temperature controllers under engineering guidance.<BR>* Operate and maintain injection mold machines, material dryers, and conveying equipment, including prototype runs.<BR>* Support quality, yield, efficiency, and capacity of processes in accordance with strategic objectives, including analysis and recommendation for solutions.<BR>* Perform four-corner window studies of plastic molded products.<BR>* Monitor and ensure material inventory accuracy and perform material handling.<BR>* Coordinate Tool and Die Maintenance and configuration changeovers with the Tooling Department, including tooling condition assessments for wear or damage.<BR>* Follow and improve manufacturing processes.<BR>* Assist with other duties as assigned.Qualifications:<BR>* Associates Degree in a related technical field or an equivalent combination of education and experience<BR>* Five years experience in an injection molding environment<BR>* Crane safety and operation knowledge<BR>* Extensive plastic processing centered on engineering resins and process development.<BR>* Proficient at writing technical reports<BR>* Familiarity with industry standards<BR>* Knowledge of statistics as applied to process capability measurements<BR>* Ability to train production staff<BR>* Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment<BR>* Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities<BR>* Background check results satisfactory to SEL<BR>* Negative drug test result(s)Preferred Qualifications:<BR>* Tooling maintenance<BR>* Robotics programming<BR>* Ability to lead a team<BR>* Project management skillsTo Apply For This Position:We ask all candidates to submit their resume through our website at www.selinc.com/applynow.
