Enjoy the smaller town life: country space, freedom from traffic, easy access to recreational activities in nearby mountains, rivers, and forests, as well as great schools and universities.Responsibilities:<BR>* Develop, implement, and continuously refine SEL environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) systems and programs to comply with federal, state, and local regulations and SEL requirements.<BR>* Manage and lead active hazard control and accident prevention programs, working with the Senior EH&S Manager and site safety committee.<BR>* Ensure EH&S compliance and conduct EH&S management system audits.<BR>* Prepare and review internal reports to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions regarding EH&S processes, programs and projects.<BR>* Develop, supervise, and coordinate training programs that encourage a safe and healthy work environment.<BR>* Communicate to all levels of management and employee owners EH&S management programs, practices, and information.<BR>* Identify, measure, and improve EH&S programs and processes.<BR>* Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:<BR>* B.S. in engineering or physical/environmental sciences<BR>* Minimum of 10 years of EH&S management experience, including at least 5 years in a manufacturing environment with a demonstrated balance between EH&S<BR>* Facility planning for new and existing construction for EH&S matters<BR>* Proficient with Microsoft Office applications<BR>* Superior organizational skills and high attention to detail<BR>* Excellent presentation, writing, grammar, communication, and interpersonal skills<BR>* Ability to work both independently and cooperatively within a team environment<BR>* Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities<BR>* Ability to learn and communicate complex technical/scientific information to various audiences<BR>* Coaching and mentoring experience<BR>* Ability to represent SEL and the EH&S Department to regulators, public officials, NGOs, and other third parties<BR>* Demonstrated effectiveness in managing EH&S matters in a rapidly changing environment (e.g., during company rapid growth and expansion)<BR>* Experience in conducting EH&S job hazards assessment of manufacturing processes<BR>* Negative drug test result(s)<BR>* Background check results satisfactory to SELPreferred Qualifications:<BR>* 2 years of organic and inorganic chemistry<BR>* M.S. degree in engineering or p </font></td>
