               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Department Liaison - Liberty Lake, Washington<BR>Location: Washington-Liberty Lake<BR>Job Number:_18351<BR>Providence is calling a Department Liaison to Providence Health & Services in Liberty Lake, WA.<BR><BR>This position serves as the primary billing office contact to discuss and resolve issues with charging departments in the ministries, HIM, and physician offices (customers). This position will also serve as a resource for AR Specialists when issues need to be escalated that involve resolution with customers.<BR><BR>In this position you will:<BR>* Serve as the primary department contact with customers (charging departments, HIM coding, or physician offices).<BR>* Review requests regarding billing edits with input from customers.<BR>* Review escalated requests from AR Specialist, makes account corrections, or obtains input from customers for instructions to the AR Specialist.<BR>* Process charge credits and debits.<BR>* Evaluate late charges (adjustments vs billing).<BR>* Research patient inquiries regarding services by confirming charges via medical records or direct contact with applicable customer.<BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>Required qualifications for this position include:<BR>* A high school diploma or GED equivalent<BR>* A minimum of two (2) years overall experience in a large and complex acute care setting, knowledge of billing requirements and experience with the various system applications needed to perform the duties of the position<BR><BR>Preferred qualifications for this position include:<BR>* Completion of some college coursework<BR><BR>About the department you will serve.<BR>Providence Strategic and Management Services provides a variety of functional and system support services for all eight regions of Providence Health & Services from Alaska to California.
