<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Lead Insurance Accounts Receivable Specialist<BR>Location: Washington-Liberty Lake<BR>Job Number:_19366<BR>Providence is calling a Lead Insurance Accounts Receivable Specialist to Providence Health & Services in Liberty Lake, WA.<BR><BR>We are seeking a detail-oriented individual who to contribute to the achievement of financial targets, performance standards, and service delivery by collecting receivables from commercial insurance companies.<BR><BR>In this position you will:<BR>* Serve as subject matter expert to the Accounts Receivable Team<BR>* Treat payors and patients with respect as well as protect their privacy<BR>* Move accounts to appropriate support desks relative to billing, medical records and utilization review issues as needed<BR>* Write and submit accurate appeals, including all necessary supporting documentation<BR>* Work with providers to obtain referrals for necessary accounts<BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>Required qualifications for this position include:<BR>* High School diploma or equivalent<BR>* Two years medical billing experience and/or medical claims adjudication<BR>* Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English<BR>* Proven PC Proficiency in MS Windows and Office applications<BR><BR>Preferred qualifications for this position include:<BR>* Certified Patient Account Technician (CPAT)<BR>* Three years medical billing experience and/or medical claims adjudication<BR>* Knowledge of medical billing<BR>* Payor technology and applications<BR><BR>About the ministry you will serve.<BR>Providence Strategic and Management Services provides a variety of functional and system support services for all eight regions of Providence Health & Services from Alaska to California.
