               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Seeking a Medical Biller with an A/R & Medicare focus for a 3+ month contract. This contract will go for at least three months, but probably longer. Pay is $12-$14/Hour, DOE.Primary Duties:- Ability to extract, review and interpret billing statements, charge information, private or government insurance benefits, and other related information from multiple billing and documentation servers (for multiple hospitals, clinics and insurance companies) while resolving account balances. - Ensure appropriate use of adjustment codes and activity codes to allow for appropriate work flow and trending.- Proactively identify opportunities to improve business results and/or to alert business units of trends, anomalies or health plan rules and decisions that need attention.- Escalate unresolved issues appropriately and recommend solutions to minimize future problems.Key Metrics:- A/R days- Individual Performance and Productivity MetricMinimum Qualifications:The successful incumbent has, at minimum the following education and experience: Education: A high school diploma or GED equivalent and college coursework preferred.Experience:  Minimum two (2) years experience in automated, computerized account follow-up system, preferable in a hospital setting, health insurance claims processing or medical office.Knowledge in reimbursement of health care accounts from insurance companies is preferred.Competencies:Team Work:- Works effectively with team members across functional and geographic regions (especially good at working with team members who are not in a directly reporting line relationship)- Take responsibility to support team members in meeting project milestones and objectives (even when team members or milestones are not their direct responsibility)Communications- Listens with sensitivity and openness- Actively seeks constructive feedback and remains open and receptive to it- Anticipates the information needs of others- Proven skills in communicating with technical staff, and customersCustomer Service- Anticipates and takes personal responsibility for customer satisfaction and service excellence- Consistently goes out of the way to listen, understand, and support the needs of others in a sensitive mannerQuality- Performs challenging tasks efficiently and effectively- Anticipates problems and takes corrective action prior to completing the task- Sets challenging objectives and works against self-defined standards of excellence to continually improve personal performancePlanning- Demonstrated planning and project management skills- Proven ability to anticipate and respond proactively in a dynamic environment- Proven ability to establish and articulate strategic priorities and objectivesMotivating/Leading- Maintains focus on Mission and core valuesProblem Solving- Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical skillsCollaboration- Demonstrated skills and ability to work effectively to build relationships with colleagues, customers, through positive interacti                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        </font></td>
