Projects range from helicopters to small business jets and wide body aircraft including a variety of products such as aircraft cabinetry, galleys, lavatories, armor, equipment mounts and mechanical systems. Projects include both VIP and military.

Responsibilities include:
- Quickly and accurately create solid models, complex assemblies, and detailed drawings using SolidWorks 2007 software
- Work with Project Engineers and/or manage project and design teams
- Implement drawing revisions
- Effectively support manufacturing questions and changes in assigned projects
- Effectively coordinate modeling and drafting timelines to meet production requirements
- Coordinate with customer contacts to determine project design requirements
- Designing and configuring products to match statements of work in a timely manner
- Selecting correct components and vendors to meet company and aircraft standards.
Desired Experience and Abilities:
- 2 to 4 year degree in a Mechanical Design related program
- 3D modeling experience using SolidWorks is required
- Knowledge of industry drafting standards & practices is desired
- Basic knowledge of drafting and geometric tolerances
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills required
- Other software applications used in this position include 3DS Max, Rhino, Adobe Illustrator, Mastercam, FlowPath, and more.
