Small wonder some customer relationships span more than 50 years. <BR><BR><b><u>Position Scope:</b></u><BR>Candidate will coordinate the timely transportation of Longview Fibre Paper and Packaging's products and receipt of truck services, providing secure, safe and reliable transportation.  Coordinates shipping and delivery schedules for internal fleets and/ or outsourced truck transportation  of company products.  Responsible for over the road movements in support of customer delivery requirements.  This encompasses all company truck moves managed by corporate transportation.<BR><BR><b><u>Roles and Responsibilities:</b></u><BR><li>Manage carrier pools to ensure truck capacity is available to meet business needs; establish and maintain processes to ensure visibility to available fleet/capacity            <BR><li>Oversee the timely delivery and scheduling of truck movements. IE: load tendering (domestic and export) per the established carrier strategies  <BR><li>Maintain truck delivery schedules and transit times; track and monitor daily incoming and outgoing transportation performance, ensuring carrier compliance to company standards to ensure customer needs are met; communicate information to appropriate parties, responds to inquiries as required; considered to be subject matter expert on truck shipments; monitor execution dashboards and respond as necessary<BR><li>"Plan to pay" responsibilities for Truck movements<BR><li>Review BOL's, ensure freight costs are applied properly for timely freight settlement<BR><li>Facilitate POD's as required  <BR><li>Resolve freight settlement issues, verifying payment information as necessary            <BR><li>Analyze truck data, helping to facilitate maximized asset utilization, adherence to carrier strategies<BR><li>Maintain necessary documentation to facilitate proper payment of accessorials, etc.         <BR><li>Handle multiple priorities including internal/external customer inquiries, order changes, product damage, problem solving and issue resolution       <BR><li>Monitor and report truck carrier safety issues and safety concerns.   <BR><li>Ensure compliance to safety policies<BR><li>Maintain current knowledge of transportation operations including County, State and Federal transportation regulations<BR><li>Work with customs brokers as required<BR><li>Responsible for claims management for truck shipments<BR><BR><b><u>Qualifications/Pre-Requisites:</b></u><BR><li>3 – 5 years of related experience in modal logistics required<BR><li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required<BR><BR><b>To Apply</b> Please visit our website at http://www.longviewfibre.com/careers and fill out an online application.<BR><BR><i>Longview Fibre Paper and Packaging, Inc. is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer. </i><BR></font></td>
