Simply follow the directions in the narrative below.</i></b><BR><BR>Local high tech manufacturing service company, primarily fabrication, specializing in laser alignment and calibration is seeking an experienced Machine Tool Technician / Mechanic to work on projects throughout the Puget Sound area. <BR><BR><b>Job Description:</b><BR>* Provide services to maintain, analyze, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical components on CNC machine tools and accessories.<BR>* Assist machine installation, repair, retrofit, and system upgrades.<BR>* Identify parts and supplies necessary to repair and maintain machine tools.<BR>* Communicate action plans and timelines to customers and team members<BR>* Maintain a safe work environment<BR>* Perform and document work in accordance with company administrative and operational procedures.<BR>* Engage in company and team efforts to improve business and operational practices.<BR><BR><b>Hours / Days / Schedule:</b><BR>Day shift: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., M-F (Overtime work is often available)<BR><BR><b>Job Requirements:</b><BR><i>Your resume must reflect the following qualifications to receive a referral:</i><BR>* Vocational or associates degree in machine tool mechanics, large machine repair, equipment maintenance, or a related field.<BR>* Two (2) years of experience providing large equipment or machine tool repair or maintenance services.<BR>* Experience using power, pneumatic, hydraulic, and hand tools<BR>* Good mechanical knowledge with the ability to work parts such as pumps, motors, shafts, bearings, and spindles.<BR>* Read and understand parts manuals, assembly instructions, trouble shooting guides, and mechanical blueprints.<BR>* Able to work and communicate effectively with team members, machine manufacturers, and customers on technical issues.<BR>* Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills<BR>* Proven ability to work with minimal supervision and be proactive<BR>* Must have a valid Washington State driver's license<BR>* Must have a good driving record (No DUI convictions) and provide a copy of driving record at the time of interview.<BR>* Employer conducts a pre-employment reference and DMV record check.<BR><BR><b>Salary / Wage / Benefits:</b><BR>$23.00 - $35.00/hr, DOE/DOQ + benefits (medical, and disability insurance; 401k, and paid holidays, sick and vacation leave)<BR><BR><b>Closing Date / Deadline:</b><BR>Open until filled<BR><BR><b>TO APPLY:<BR>To apply for this position, please copy and paste the website address below into your internet address bar and click "Go".
