Simply follow the directions in the narrative below.</i></b><BR><BR>Local high tech manufacturing service company, primarily fabrication, specializing in laser alignment and calibration is seeking an experienced CNC Service Technician.<BR><BR><b>Job Description:</b><BR>* Provide service to maintain, analyze, diagnose, troubleshoot, program, and repair CNC machine PLCs / process control systems, drives, and components.<BR>* Lead machine installation, repair, retrofit, and system upgrade projects<BR>* Define resource, parts, and supplies, equipment, and programming requirements for CNC machine, repair, rebuild and retrofit projects.<BR>* Identify, recommend, and implement alternative, creative and/or interim technical solutions to meet customersA? short-term and long-term production requirements<BR>* Communication action plans and timelines to customers and team members<BR>* Maintain a safe work environment<BR>* Perform and document work in accordance with company administrative and operational procedures<BR>* Engage in company and team efforts to improve business and operational practices.<BR>* Travel to customer sites to perform work<BR><BR><b>Hours / Days / Schedule:</b><BR>Day shift: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., M-F (Overtime work is often available)<BR><BR><b>Job Requirements:</b><BR><i>Your resume must reflect the following qualifications to receive a referral:</i><BR>* Vocational or Associates degree in controls engineering, applied sciences or related technical field. <BR>* Five (5) experience with CNC equipment and controls, large machine tool maintenance, mechanical drive train, and hydraulic components.<BR>* Experience with a variety of CNC equipment controls including Fanuc and Siemens<BR>* Read and understand parts manuals, assembly instructions, trouble shooting guides, and electrical and mechanical schematics and blueprints.<BR>* Proficient with electrical test and diagnostic equipment, and making electrical and electronic machine repairs<BR>* Knowledge of PLCs and PC controllers, their logical and electronic operations and troubleshooting procedures<BR>* Ability to work and communicate effectively with team members, machine manufacturers, and customers on technical issues.<BR>* Must be able to utilize the following skills: root cause analysis, problem definition, alternatives analysis, planning and project management.<BR>* Must have a good driving record (No DUI convictions) and provide a copy of driving record at the time of interview.<BR>* Employer conducts a pre-employment reference and DMV record check.<BR><BR><b>Preferred Qualifications</b><BR>* OEM factory training and/or experience in CNC machine tool building, repair, and/or service<BR>* Experience using power, pneumatic, hydraulic, and hand tools<BR>* Experience using overhead cranes, pressure gauges, and precision measuring instruments <BR>* Experience measuring and verifying machine tool accuracy and capabilities using various metrology tools and equipment<BR>* 5-7 years machine shop experience<BR>* Good mechanical knowledge with the ability to work parts such as pumps, motors, shafts, bearings, and spindles.<BR>* Understand budget process and assists in developing budget line items associated with areas of expertise.<BR><BR><b>Salary / Wage / Benefits:</b><BR>$30.00 - $45.00/hr, DOE/DOQ + benefits (medical, and disability insurance; 401k, and paid holidays, sick and vacation leave)<BR><BR><b>Closing Date / Deadline:</b><BR>Open until filled<BR><BR><b>TO APPLY: </b><BR>To apply for this position, please copy and paste the website address below into your internet address bar and click "Go".
