<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business or supply chain * APICS certification in Detailed Scheduling/Planning and Master Planning of Resources required * Formal classroom training in Production Planning or Purchasing modules contributing to APICS certification * Five years experience in Production Planning, with three years in a manufacturing environment * Proven ability to use and navigate through standard SAP/Materials Management Production Planning (MMPP) transactions, and develop Business Warehouse (BW) reports * Demonstrated skills in business analysis, project management, and quantitative functions * Information seeking * Excellent problem solving, conflict resolution, and decision making skills * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail * Demonstrated openness to change and ability to manage complexities * Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills * Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective work relationships with internal and external stakeholders * Focused on impact and result for the customer * Demonstrated ability to use resources effectively, set priorities and multi-task * Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) JOB DUTIES: * Execute and maintain detailed plans for semi-finished, component, generic chain, and/or raw materials processed in the Portland Metro locations * Review capacity constraints, determine requirements (MPS/MRP), and create stock transport (STO), purchase, and production orders * Collaborate with global Production Planners to supply component requirements * Coordinate and monitor deliveries * Provide product forecasts to suppliers * Set targets for inventory levels using SAP tools and reports; review actual levels and establish plans for closing gaps * Participate in development of annual inventory budgets and measure performance * Set up planning views for new materials via CMA process * Maintain data integrity for planning/purchasing master data * Review and execute corrective action on aged inventory * Maintain buyer information by communicating with suppliers, create and maintain purchase orders and delivery information * Participate in the Potential Excess Inventory (PEI) process * Create and distribute reports for manufacturing and operations including daily production, inventory, and export reports * Communicate availability information and troubleshoot issues in collaboration with manufacturing and sales personnel * Participate in continuous improvement activities and training, and lead process improvement teams EMPLOYER COMMENTS: This senior level Production Planner position will develop, execute and report on detailed demand, inventory, purchase, and/or delivery plans for all forestry products, manufactured or externally procured, that are processed through our Portland Metro locations. This position analyzes data and makes recommendations to achieve profitability, meet customer requirements, and inventory goals.
