<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Medical Records Clerk<BR>Location: Washington-Monroe<BR>Job Number:_15339<BR>Providence is calling a Medical Records Clerk to Providence Medical Group in Lynnwood, WA.<BR>We are seeking a detailed individual to organize and maintain patient medical records. <BR><BR>In this position you will:<BR>* File, assemble, and retrieve confidential patient records.<BR>* Manages the release of information, HIPPA and Protected Health Information (PHI).<BR>* Be responsible for responding to inquiries from physicians, patients, and staff.<BR>* Scan all correspondence, lab, and x-ray reports as well as dictated notes<BR>* Make folders for new patient records, perform audits, and assist physicians in locating records.<BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>Required qualifications for this position include:<BR>* High School diploma or GED equivalent <BR>* Experience in medical office or related record-keeping position<BR>* Knowledge of medical terminology and medical record laws<BR>* Knowledge of HIPAA requirements<BR><BR>Preferred qualifications for this position include:<BR>* Associate?s or Bachelor?s degree<BR>* One year of experience working in a medical setting.<BR>* Knowledge of an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system<BR>* Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel<BR>* RHIT/RHIA certified<BR>About the clinic you will serve.<BR>Providence Medical Group is a group of primary care, specialty care and hospital-based medical providers who serve Snohomish County in more than 10 locations in scenic northwest Washington.
