Our innovative designs and reliable products have made Genie a world leader in the production of material lifts, portable aerial work platforms, scissor lifts, and self-propelled telescopic and articulated booms.<BR><BR>Responsibilities:<BR><BR>Assists with event preparation and participates in improvement events as requested to support plant objectives. Activities shall include, but not limited to:<BR>* Training of team members in areas such as continuous flow, 5 s, standard work, just in time production techniques.<BR>* Document work process information such as people and material flow, and cycletimes.<BR>* Lead Lean Workshops, with guidance and support of Lean Workshop Leader.<BR>* Implementation of process and equipment improvements as directed.<BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>* Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques.<BR>* Knowledge of Genie production processes.<BR>* Ability to facilitate group problem solving activities in a structured manner.<BR>* Excellent oral and written communication skills.<BR>* Good presentation skills are a must.<BR>* Capability to complete standard work forms.<BR>* Track record of implementing improvement opportunities<BR>* Strong PC skills including MS Office. <BR>* Participation in no fewer than 5 (five) improvement events.<BR>* Some college course work in a technical discipline a plus.<BR>Apply for this job:<BR>Your application choices are:<BR>* Apply for this jobonline<BR>* Refer a friend to this job<BR>It is the policy of the company to attract and retain the best qualified employees.
