 <td align="left">VP EX Non-Ex AVIONICS TECH I, ML, FT ***Veterans are encouraged to apply*** JOB DESCRIPTION: AVIATION TECHNICAL SERVICES, INC. (ATS) looking to hire AVIONICS TECH 1. Performs simple repairs, checks, and installations of all Avionics systems on the aircraft under general supervision. This brand new aviation facility is opening in Moses Lake and has already increased its call to 20 Aircraft Mechanic, Avionics specialist and is holding a HIRING EVENT SEPT. 6TH, at Work Source in Moses Lake! ATS already has a facility established in Moses Lake and plans to start production Mid-September! ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Within budgeted or estimated time, performs installations, remove and replace components, perform simple checks and tests with the appropriate amount of supervision. * Accurately interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, wiring diagrams, system schematics, drawings, engineering orders and other documents from both the customer and ATS. * Properly utilized and maintain Avionics hand tools to perform repairs and installations. * Accurately document work performed as set forth by ATS and customer maintenance programs on a daily basis using the standard format. Prepare routine reports and correspondence. * Fabricate per drawings and standard practices wire bundles and assemblies to include marking of wires, properly securing wires into bundles, and termination of wires into a variety of contacts and connectors. * Take immediate corrective action regarding unsafe conditions. * Regular and prompt attendance. * Effective and appropriate conduct with co-workers. JOB REQUIREMENTS: ** ONLY persons that have worked SPECIFICALLY on Aircraft AND MUST HAVE an A&P certification ** * High school diploma or GED AND six months as an ATS Avionics Apprentice Technician OR one year recent hands-on related avionics experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience/training. * Airframe license is desired. * Ability to communicate effectively with other maintenance personnel at all levels regarding all job-related issues both verbally and in writing. * Must have a general knowledge of fundamental electrical theories and practices. * Ability to perform basic to intermediate mathematical functions such as add, subtract, divide in units of measure and ability to compute rate, rations and percentages. * Demonstrate the ability to research proper hand-tools utilizing standard wiring practices manuals. ***Full Description Available upon Referral*** HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE: Monday / Friday, Day and Swing Shifts SALARY / WAGE / BENEFITS: $13.23 to $15.54 per hour/DOE Full benefit package the day they start employment - included health benefits, 401K, life insurance, short and long term disability insurance, we furnish coveralls and the cleaning, tuition reimbursement, Paid Time Off and Holiday pay.
