               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Vet Exempt Non-Exclusive<BR><BR>                                      *** BASKETBALL OFFICIALS ***<BR>                                             <BR><b>JOB DESCRIPTION:</b><BR>The Columbia Basin Officials Association has immediate openings for basketball officials to work at  elementary, Jr. High and Senior High School level basketball games, along with AAU games.  This employer will train individuals who are interested and meet the requirements.  The basketball season runs from October 27th to March 1st.<BR><BR>***Employer is looking to hire up to 20 officials for the 2012-2013 season***<BR> <BR><b>HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE:</b><BR>Most weekday games start anywhere from 3pm to 7pm.<BR>Weekend games usually start around 10 AM.<BR><BR>Work sites: All of Grant County and Adams County.<BR><BR><b>JOB REQUIREMENTS:</b><BR>No previous experience required.  Employer will train applicants who meet the following:<BR><BR>* A pre-employment criminal background check will be required.  <BR>* Must be able to speak (read, write) English to understand instructions and/or training for the job.  There is pre-employment testing over basketball officiating rules (booklet and some training will be provided).  <BR>* Be able to use the internet (games are scheduled online).<BR>* WIA Association dues are required after hire.<BR>* Uniform-including officiating shirt, whistle, black pants and black shoes.<BR>* Attend necessary officiating meetings ( to start November 14th).<BR><BR><b>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</b><BR>Previous Officiating Experience is a plus<BR> <BR><b>SALARY / WAGE / BENEFITS:</b> <BR>Pay: $17 to $42 per game<BR>Range of pay depends upon type of game (for example, AAU, non-varsity, )<BR> <BR><b>CLOSING DATE / DEADLINE:</b> <BR>Immediate Need<BR><BR><b>HOW TO APPLY:</b><BR>Contact WorkSource<BR><BR><b>For specific application instructions, you must contact your local WorkSource office directly.
